PRESIDENT ERDOĞAN VISITED SİMİT SARAYI IN SERBIA

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic were the guests of Abdullah Kavukcu, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Simit Sarayı, which entered the Serbian market with 7 new stores. After completing his official visits in Serbia, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan toured the city center with Aleksandar Vucic and visited the SİMİT SARAYI store in Belgrade. Visiting the Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra 80 store of Simit Sarayı, Erdoğan was accompanied with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Environment and Urbanization Mehmet Özhaseki, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs Veysel Eroğlu and the Minister of Transportation, Maritime and Communication Ahmet Arslan. Receiving information about investments from Abdullah Kavukcu, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of SİMİT SARAYI Erdoğan and his delegation tasted offered products. Entering the Serbian market recently by purchasing the enterprise named Cafe Costa, Simit Sarayı has 7 stores in the capital city of Belgrade. Simit Saray opened its Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra, Goce Delceva, Njegoseva, Kralja Milena, Milesevska, Cika Ljubina and Bulevar 208 stores in the same week. The Zemun store currently under construction is planned for opening soon. A venue for both taste and pleasure with its specious atmosphere, comfortable decoration and rich menu, the new stores of Simit Sarayı were widely admired by the guests. Abdullah Kavukcu, Chairman of Simit Sarayı Board of Directors stated that the delicacies of Simit Sarayı became indispensable in Europe. Kavukcu said “Hosting 1 million guests every day in 22 countries, Simit Sarayı today meets with wide attention in every culture, every region of the world”. Stating that 8 new stores were opened in the same week in Serbia and the brand met with wide attention since the first day, Kavukcu said “We shall soon enter new markets. In 2017 we shall enter both the Lebanese and the Iraqi market. Our investment in our current markets will continue.” President Erdogan was welcomed with enthusiasm in Serbia The city of Novi Pazar of Sanjak district, where President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited, was really very crowded due to the visit. Thousands of people from different cities of Serbia filled the streets of the city by rushing into Novi Pazar to see President Erdoğan. While the banners of “Turkey” and “Welcome to Novi Pazar” and Turkish flags were hang all over the city, people went to the windows and went up the high buildings to see President Erdoğan. “We have started a new era between Turkey and Serbia." President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said. During Erdoğan's visit to Serbia, 16 agreements were signed just in two days.
